The Great Lakes Business Leadership Network (BLN) is a business-led collaborative seeking to increase business success through increased diversity, including full inclusion of people with disabilities as customers, employees, suppliers and community members.
The Great Lakes BLN recognizes and supports best practices in the employment and advancement of people with disabilities; the preparedness for work of youth and students with disabilities; marketing to consumers with disabilities; and contracting with vendors with disabilities through the development and certification of disability-owned businesses.
The business case for inclusion of people with disabilities is powerful! Businesses that employ people with disabilities turn social issues into business opportunities. These opportunities translate into lower costs, higher revenues and increased profits.
Great Lakes Business Leadership Network serves eight Michigan counties: Arenac, Clare, Gladwin, Gratiot, Isabella, and the counties of the Great Lakes Bay region – Bay, Midland and Saginaw.
Be a leader and join the Great Lakes Business Leadership Network to understand, utilize and benefit from the valuable resources people with disabilities represent in both consumer and labor markets!
